looks like he might have to sit a year. if i'm reading articles correctly, since Ole Miss was bowl banned in 2018, they were allowing players with only 1 year of eligibility left to transfer and play immediately, but not anyone with more than one year.

He would have to sit out a year normally, however, this all hinges on Shea Patterson's waiver appeal to the NCAA to play at Michigan next season. If he gets it rewarded, Dixon likely does too.
