Bought tickets outside the stadium in 1996 when Nebraska played Florida for the Natty on a Platter.

They were $150 apiece back then, which is probably $250 now.

Still remember the Gator chomp, before, during, and after the game. Can't remember a more cocky fan base in my life, even after a 62-24 beat down.

You have an opportunity to see your favorite team for the first time at the national championship game and make a memory with your youngest child.

I'm not sure how it's even a question. It might be borderline if it was just with a buddy, but moments like that with your kids last forever.

Zero chance I would miss that opportunity with my kid.

I went last year - was in the End Zone about 25 rows up, so not quite nose bleed but not ideal seats either. I was willing to spend $250 but ended up getting a comp ticket. Even though my team lost it was a great experience. But last year was the first NCAA Playoff National Championship, that added a little more weight.

So right now the Alabama vs Clemson game has tickets down to about $200 each for the nosebleed section.

I live less than 30 minutes from the game.

I'm considering going, but with the nosebleed section it kind of seems like I'd be going just to be going rather than going for the best experience.

I'm kind of thinking the TV experience would actually be better.

Depends. I mean if you're actually wanting to watch the game then TV is the better bet but itd,be tough to pass up the experience of being at the game, especially if you're going to tailgate or go enjoy the experience around,the stadium

I was working with a Miami fan that night. We listened to the game on the radio.

Was attending UNA when that game happened. Some Miami fan came into a gas station to pay, and a drunk Bama fan got this crestfallen look upon his face, said to the guy, "Miami fan, huh? Man, it must suck to be you!" Think he really did feel sorry for the Miami fan, but it was still funny as heck.
