because the topic is and has been about the south winning the conference. someone said they liked that UW and USC were on top of the conference again. I pointed out UW was on top USC was simply close with their tied for 3rd best conference record. the topic was not about national rankings. the topic was not about Rose Bowls or the post season. the topic is as stated in the title about the conference.
