What do you guys think?
Anything.A title, or a GS title?
Let’s see. Losing two matches in the first round since comeback. His body is ready but mind is not.
It’s ultimately the strength of the mind that takes you over the hump to winning matches that are close. Mind has to be ready but it is a harder route to train it than body. Body will get ready when you rest and recover it and train it properly. Why do you think that? I would have thought based on his results, his mind is ready but his body is not.
I would have liked to see him win a few matches before the French Open, but he didn't.
Let's see what happens.
actually it doesn’t matter whether you or I want her to win or not. If she plays well she will win. Chances are bleak for her as well as even junior level players are catching up with the sisters now.Federer is done unfortunately....id like to see him win one last one but highly unlikely. Now Serena I hope she struggles the rest of her career and never wins another.
Mother Nature? What the fuck are you talking about? On the other hand Father Time has caught up with Serena and Mother Nature also. The younger players are too much to handle in the early rounds. Not sure if she still has a slam left In her tank. Her task is easier to accomplish than Federer’s because it’s much much easier to win on the women circuit than the men’s.
I think the same was said about Sampras before he won his last US Open right before he retiredFederer is done unfortunately....id like to see him win one last one but highly unlikely. Now Serena I hope she struggles the rest of her career and never wins another.
first straight set loss Roger has taken at Wimbledon in 19 yrsLosing to a guy named Herbert hercocks...smh
My 2 favourite big guns, Roger and Serena are done.
And the lack of testicular fortitude on the women's side means I will likely not watch the women again for a while.
I enjoyed the ending to the Womens tourney, even if Pliskova and Kerber and Gauff lost.
