I am thinking that Dwight won't ever win one in Houston and perhaps never because the West is so competitive and will need to go back to the Eastern Conference to score an opportunity.

And this deep insight by TLF was brought on by his team holding the 3rd best record in the league even though their best player (Dwight, himself) was out almost a month.:L

James Harden has stepped it up recently.

That's done - he spanked his children with a belt buckle and got called out for it. He will have to take some parenting classes and that's it.

And how many teams with the best record have actually won a championship? You already know that the regular season record means nothing in the playoffs or finals if they get that far.

Well, let's see: The Champion the last 2 years has had the best regular season record. Over the last 5 seasons the champion has had no worse than the 4th best record overall. Seem that the regular season record meaning nothing may be a little misguided. Usually, the best teams have the best records and not coincidentally do well in the playoffs.

He has a better chance than Jim Buss does, if that helps ground you and gets you beyond a Dwight's rejection. This bitterness is just silly

So if Lakers fans don't think Dwight will ever win a title, it's bitterness. But if anyone else thinks that, it's okay?

Maybe you should worry less about what Lakers fans think? :noidea:

And fuck you for making me defend a TLF thread. :finger:

Too funny Trojan. The obsession on Dwight s game by Lakers posters continues. It's just getting old and you of all people hate seeing the same old discussion brought up.

You need to go back and do more research - there was a team with the 7th or 8th seed that won a championship, but I am talking about in the history of the game - there have been many teams without the best record to go on and win a championship. The Lakers was one of them. Dallas got blown out in the first round one year and so the did the Spurs. The last five seasons means nothing over time and six years straight is no guaranteed

Not an obsession - just a legitimate question. If you believe Dwight will win one, two or three - that's fine - just say so and tell me why you believe that. What's so wrong about that question?

I thought you would like something different besides the Heat and the Lakers

Only women hold grudges this long. The guy has a WAY better chance at winning a ring now, since he left LA. The West IS stacked this year. I highly doubt it will stay this stacked until Dwight retires so his odds of getting a ring will get better assuming he stays healthy, with Houston and they stay as good or better than they are right now.

Who said anything about holding grudges? Only a stupid woman would think Lakers fans are holding a grudge. Your statement is just flat out ignorant

Just answer the question - Do you think Dwight will ever win a championship. I think it's doubtful because the west is so competitive and I don't think the Rockets will ever have enough to do it with. Byron Scott pointed out just last week he doubts that Dwight ever will because he seems to lack the determination and drive to get it done

Dwight Howard playoffs numbers shows that Byron Scott doesn't know what he's talking about. I can't see into the future so I don't know if Howard, durant, paul, Blake, or melo will win a title

So your question is genuine and not asked out of bitterness he didn't want to stay in LA? Sure seems like it is based on your posts? If Dwight was 2 yrs from retirement, I would say I don't like his chances of winning a ring. Not easy to predict what the league will be like in 5+ years. I will say no anyway to getting a ring.

ps-I don't care about anything Byron Scott says.
