Only question now is how many times Atlanta loses this week. I think that they are likely to lose at least once more, with the game at Memphis looking like a particularly strong candidate.
Last night they proved they can guard their position....asik & davis looked like a men amongst boys. Those 2 alone grabbed 30 rebounds while the entire hawks team grabbed 32.
38 & 30 for those 2 compared to 23 & 15 on 39 percent shooting.
Yep size means nothing
Ben Wallace was never a center either, he was listed at 6'9", but that may have even been a stretch. There are exceptions to every rule, however.
He's a rare exception. Rarely do you see a 6'9 center have success rebounding & pdefending against someone who is 3 or 4 inches taller
Size isn't everything rebounding is about instinct and smarts IMO. Also they got beat finally after winning 19 in a row.. You're going to have your off nights like I said
Draymond does every night and he's like 6 foot 7

He avg 8 rebounds per game...nothing special and what centers does he guard.
You're going to have trouble as a small team rebounding against a team like the pelicans. These are just the facts of life. If you been actually paying attention you would know the hawks been a terrible rebounding team all year long. I'm going to guess having an under size pf & c has a lot to do with that
I know that but it's gonna stop them from beating teams lol
In the playoffs it may. I don't think you realize that certain things you can get away with in the regular season but not the playoffs

Hambombs doesn't understand about the exception that proves the rule. For example, he thinks that just because the Pistons managed to be the only team without an acknowledged superstar to win a title, that any team without an acknowledged superstar can do it.
He also cherry picks an undersized player or 2 who are doing well despite being undersized and thinks that proves that size means nothing. I'm surprised he hasn't brought up Charles Barkley yet (although I think he may not be old enough to know he was a PF).

Also I never said anything about the hawks but the east is so weak that I think they can make the finals.
