Why did 11 - 1 Alabama get picked over 12 - 1 Wisconsin?

Oh look, it's Jimmy Jam's pajama buddy back for more lulz...

Still thinks anybody at Alabama cares what Saban did in your scrub league.

You don’t have to care about anything. Just pointing out how Saban fared when he was without the ‘level playing field’ called the SEC. Which is why I say — Great coach.........in the SEC.

Good, because I care even less about what you think than I do about what Saban did prior to Alabama.

Of course, what I think and what you think doesn't change the fact that Saban will be remembered a hundred years from now and Jimmy Jam won't even be a footnote.

What is next? CFB is a level playing, the SEC is clean and just wants what is best for anyone other than themselves. Take off the blinders.

I take it this mean you acknowledge your claims were once again wrong.

I agree — he will be remembered as a great coach......... in the SEC. Unless you think they will be bragging about his losing record in the NFL and mediocre record in the B1G?

Beat #1 Ohio St. I don't see Harbaugh doing that, and he has the advantage being at Michigan.

Sigh.

You could make a case that there were teams more deserving than alabama to be in the playoffs (although you're an idiot if you think any of those teams was better than alabama).

But if you actually don't understand why they got picked over wiscy then I really wonder if you've been living under a rock the past few weeks, or years lol. Thankfully it looks like opie here made this thread with the intention of provoking the debate and not because he didn't understand, but in doing so he has managed to lure in a few goofs to this thread who really don't seem to get it lol....

If you want a league that punishes success, go watch the NFL. Everyone in college football has equal opportunity and the so called unlevel playing field is what makes college football so great.

Yeah, more constant yammering from this tired Michigan fan who has recruit envy.

Harbaugh beat a #1 USC as a 42 point underdog as coach at Stanford.

It doesn’t change the fact Saban did less than George Perles or Mike Dantonio in their first 5 years at MSU. Also doesn’t change the fact he couldn’t win 10 games, couldn’t win a bowl game, etc.

But with the equality the SEC provides — he is a great coach

And FCS App St beat #5 Michigan that year so it wasn't even the most impressive win.

Maybe college football has too much liberty for you. Maybe you should stick to that liberal NFL bullshit.

Don’t be bitter. I’m sure there are good reasons George Perles and Mike Dantonio (and Harbaugh) did much better than Saban in his 5 years in the B1G.:suds:

We could say Harbaugh is only good in the Pac12...

But I ain't the one in this conversation stupid enough to do such things.
Does one good season and one 2nd place division title count as good?
