Looks like a third lane of cars is crap and just goes backwards. There is a 6-car breakaway and two lanes of cars in the big pack.

Stenhouse Jr. with a tire down. Cut down with the contact with Ragan earlier.

This stage crap is really the old competition yellows which were race-conditions based. They are now part of a format and only the top ten earn points.

The stage format really doesn't bother me, if it creates more action during the middle portions of the race, that's fine with me. A lot of you will just bitch about any change without giving it a chance. Last I checked, all drivers are still racing under the same format.

But I don't think the clock on damage repairs will last. Teams should be able to go behind the wall, repair the car and make a few laps and gain a few positions.

I mean, Dale Sr finished a race in a car that he rolled over. Never went behind the wall, but the repairs on pit road took longer than 5 minutes.

Toyotas are in again early. This is a strange strategy or so it appears.
