I've been trying to understand why they thought this was a good idea and I'm baffled...its just going to make races longer and make for 3 occasions where guys get too aggressive and we have a big one

A gaggle of Toyotas in the pits early and they have to run in groups of three or four to get as much speed or more as the main pack.

I think this stage crap is designed to break-up pack racing because more strategies are introduced that have to be considered that separates groups of cars. I think it is ill-conceived. If this is the intent, go back to the old rules and really bring back product identity which will bring back all the fans that left even though today's race is sold out.
