Will it again be Sean Lee? Will Collins make a push? Or will someone come from no where?

As it looks now, Lee would be the safest pick, unless Collins plays as good as they say hes looked and gets 10 sacks in the middle.

It's hard to beat 50. I think Collins will be really good. I think Byron Jones settles in and has a nice year. I really can't wait to see Awuzie and Lewis. I'm afraid Lewis is a long ways away.

I think the best defensive player will be our great offensive run game and time of possession.

DeMarcus Lawrence. This was probably his best training camp. No suspension to slow him down. He looks to be in great shape and hasn't been slowed down by injury. He's also playing for a contract. This might be his breakout year. I predict(hope) 12 sacks or more.

Note: And if DLaw has a big year, our pass rush could be a strength and not a weakness because with outstanding play from DLaw, that's only gonna help guys like Taco, Moore, Collins, and Irving.

Lee. Best Player and heart and soul. Collins takes the biggest step forward as far as how he is viewed Nationally by seasons end. I think he has a Pro Bowl year. May not make it because not a lot of people know him, but I think he becomes a dominant player against the run and pass. Biggest surprise player D Moore.

Lee or collins. Not expecting much from the secondary with all the hamstring injuries the young guys have. The starting safety duo of Jones and heath possibly is the worst duo in the NFL

Now to show I am not all negative I can see Elliot and price being huge assets as the season progress. I also see and understand what marinelli is doing as he had modified his scheme. The pieces are in place to play much more nickel. When those rooks get healthy I see a defense that will create more turnovers than expected which could mean more wins than than the experts think

You mean who will be the best defensive player besides Sean Lee? Byron Jones IMO
LOL...yeah, that's probably a better way to phrase it when you have a Sean Lee on your team:10:

I think Byron Jones takes another step as well so he's my vote. If he locks it down this year it should work wonders for our rookies. Hope someone on the d line steps up though, Taco, DLaw, Collins, whoever it may be (why not all?).

Got to agree with this. And if not DLaw then it'll be Collins. A step forward by either guy will boost this defense, especially the pass rush.

Other than Lee, I am going with Collins. I want to say D Law but he has let me down in the past so......

I love you DLaw
Lawrence looked like a beast tonight. I want to see Cowboys do the 3 man front with Lawrence,Collins and Irving in two weeks. Cowboys defense has looked much better with the 6 dbs

Yep and should look even better if Chido can stay on the field and if Jaylon continues to heal.
