I'm too old for this thread.

I only have so much emotion remaining. I'm only concerned
about one team winning. If that one team doesn't lose a game
for the entire year, we'll be judged better than everybody else.

That's all that matters.

If that team happens to lose a game along the way, then it will
be time to hope that somebody else loses...but not now.

For years I kept a bumper sticker on my vehicle that proclaimed...
"My two favorite teams are the Seminoles and Whomever is playing the Gators." I haven't bothered with that for 25 years,
because if we don't beat them there is no bragging rights. Thus
it is irrelevant if someone else beats them.
