Flacco on his rookie deal is easily the choice. His new one that pays him the top money of any QB though makes this choice a little tougher. Honestly I would probably rather chance it with a rookie on a rookie contract and just see if I can surround them with enough talent to make up for any deficiencies they maybe have.

Joe Flacco's illustrious playoff run is a good while back itself. He's had two pretty terrible seasons (statistically) since then.

1 Playoff run though doesn't make you elite. Throw in since he got the big contract his stats have been average at best and they have missed the playoffs 2 out of the last 3 years since. Makes it look like he actually needs a lot more talent around him to be successful compared to the elite guys who truly year in and year out no matter the team around them seem to always be in the playoffs because of what they do on the field.
