Brady and a FOURTH MVP.

I hope he and the rest of the team walk off the field and leave Goodell standing on the podium with Jim Nance and a ball boy.

In some ways, I'd say Peyton....just to get a good laugh at the media declaring that he is (once again) the best QB ever.

I don't really care, but they should make whoever wins it, retire.

The one guy who needs another ring is Aaron Rodgers. He is going to end up being somewhat underrated in the all time QB list when he retires because people are going to look at rings and playoff records.

He'll have that in common with another Green Bay QB then.

Even if Manning retires with only 1 SB win, he will still be a first ballot HOFer and top 10 QB imo . Rodgers still has plenty of time and we all know he is a great QB

Yeah, but the fact that you're only saying top 10 for Peyton is a clear indication that people put too much weight on championships for QBs. You had Steve Young talking about Rodgers when he was playing in his prime and saying no QB in the history of the game was doing what he was doing. When all is said and done, people will rank him like top 10-20 depending on how much longer he lasts...not a great legacy for the QB that had arguably the best prime.

Brady and Montana fill out all of the boxes on the all-time checklist. From there, its just opinion and things get really tight and a guy like Rodgers probably isnt going to get remembered for being truly great.

Our generation will always know that Rodgers is great even if he doesn't win another ring. As you know top 10 is purely subjective. Starr,Graham,Elway, Marino, Unitas and Staubach are in my top 10 with the latter 2 not winning a SB and if Ben wins another SB he could crack my list and already might be on other's. Bradshaw has 4 and Aikman have 3 but not in most people's top 10

Palmer...obvious bias here...but I generally like to see a new guy experience the glory. Brady has enough and Peyton got his and doesn't deserve it this year.

Bart Starr and Aaron Rodgers would be a good comparison for my point. Starr was 1st team All-Pro one time and 2nd team All-Pro twice. Rodgers was 1st team All-Pro two times and 2nd team All-Pro once. I think there were only 24 teams in Starr's era, too.

Id agree but then I remember that Jerome Bettis was able to go out on top as the #2 RB so anything can happen.

That's why he will easily go in my top 10 w/o another ring. He wins 1 or 2 more than ranks top 3. The next generations that didn't watch him play, but not rank him as high and only look at SB wins
