I personally still don't think Dantonio is on the hot seat. I think it's hard to erase what he's done there, even if they remain terrible for a few years. The only thing that could get him is the legal mess surrounding the team. But as the article points out, could they do any better?

I'd say coach GQ would be first but Tech's AD doesn't seem like one that would make a change during the season.

And, I'm not sure Tech, Zona or UCLA can attract much better than what they currently have.

Out of that list I think Sumlin and Kingsbury are on the hottest seats, followed by Kelly at ND. I think ND needs to win at least 9 games for him to keep his job. The schedule is not that difficult, if we have any team worth a damn 9-3 should at least be our record, given schedule.

Butch Jones will be gone soon enough, dude is just not very good. He was a last minute bargain bin hire. After past failures I would expect Tennessee to fire mid-season to make sure they get the guy they want. Unless they have unreasonable expectations which has hindered them in the ir past few hires.

Easily Butch Jones. Plays in the worst division in all of CFB and can't win it. Hell, former Big 12 scrub and punching bag MIZZWHO has won it twice already. that's pretty sad.....

Should not be on the list, Michigan State and Dantonio. Michigan State would be very stupid to think of getting rid of him. If they did, he would have a job very quick.

Maybe if he has two more bad years, then yes. That would show Narduzzi was the main man.

Nebraska and Mike Riley. The recruiting is going gangbusters. If Nebraska goes 6-6 or better, the entire coaching staff stays. I think 7-5 is easily doable and I predicted the record to be 8=4.

If Nebraska goes 5-7, another assistant coach will be gone. Think O line or running backs,

If Nebraska goes 4-8 or worse, there will be hell to pay. Eichorst will be very, very worried.

The rest of the coaches on the list deserve to be on the list.

I concur. He is the kind of guy you don't mind firing in October. He has some Kiffin in him
