Where do these A&M expectations come from? They're a program who should go 7-5 or 8-4 every year. Manziel years were outliers, not the norm.

Actually the defense has improved the most under Chavis. I’ll lean on the freshman crutch for some of the big plays but considering the fact that our offense can seem to generate any first downs and the defense spends the majority of the game on the field they would eventually get worn down.

Mond just isn’t ready. Every SEC defense knows he isn’t an accurate passer so the load the box and throw every blitz and stunt in his face and pretty much shuts down the running game. You could see a huge difference in the offense when Starkel too over, with the exception of the pick 6, he was actually completing passes and moving the chains. MSU Defense had to unload the box because of passing attack and it led to better production from the running backs. Too little too late.

Yep and us as well. We are right on par with preseason predictions. This team just isn’t very good and our coach will probably be shown the door after thanksgiving

This is why I posted what I did. No they haven't improved. They've feasted on teams that don't move the ball or score much at all.

I think Kevin Sumlin has coached well this year. The problem is he might get fired based off the fans discontent regarding his collapses from the last 2-3 years. Last year, A&M should have been a 10-2 team at least.

They had the same money and talent pool when they were in the Big XII and weren't as delusional though, right? They were clearly behind TX, OU, and Nebraska every year, maybe others.

And with the VT comparison, VT doesn't get nearly the hype A&M does, nor are our sending threatening letters to coaches, having leadership post on facebook, etc. A&M has won 10 games twice in the last 20 years. VT won 10+ 12 of the last 20 and at one point 8 years in a row. I posted A&M/VT comparative stats over the last 25 years a couple weeks ago and it wasn't even comparable.
