I can't help but think you all will get caught up in the same exact situation with Stafford, as we did with Cutler. Which is funny, because Lions fans seem to be the quickest (in my experience) to mock Jay.

He's good, so you can't let go... Yet, he's probably not taking you anywhere special either. A few more years of mediocre results under a fat contract, and the number 3 being added to the front of his age will likely be the wake-up call.

Hey, but just like Jay. He might be able to make a deep run if he has a good team built around him, but also like Jay... the front office is incompetent, and unlikely to make that happen.

The old front office was incompetent. New one is solid so far after 1 year.
