Urban Meyer is absolutely a used car salesman.

He has repeatedly talked about "de-recruiting" once he gets them there.

He will say whatever they want to hear to get them to sign on the dotted line, and when they get there they find out he's not a man of his word at all.

Not quite. The recruit was Shariff Floyd at Florida. Urban told him it was a "message from God that I should come back and coach, as I guess if it's my time to die, I'd rather die on the sidelines coaching you than anywhere else in the world.'" Floyd would then go on to have a fantastic career at Florida and then become a 1st round draft pick.
