Texas and USC have a huge advantage. Both have deep alumni, pockets. Both have a shit ton of Xplayers, coaching HS football, throughout, their states.
USC, had a great national recruiting base. They've lost a lot of that but look at Clemson. 10 years ago, they never got kids outside of SC, Georgia and Florida. But USC and texASS have all the instate talent, to fill multiple rosters.
I came close to putting both those schools in the Top 10, and, long-term, they would probably be there. But I am looking at current & near-term probabilities, not 6 to 10 years in the future. I'm really not sure Florida belongs, either, but they are tracking in the right direction.
