Who is going to want to follow Saban? Be like following John Wooden.

Now, if a guy is looking for a place with nowhere to go but up, there's a school on the very Western edge of Texas........
I dunno. Maybe the next guy won't get out coached by Gus so much.

17. Washington
The greatest arms race bargain in recent years? Washington's thrifty $1 million locker room upgrade at Husky Stadium prior to the 2017 season was terrific, highlighted by 1.1 miles of purple LEDs. “It’s like a spaceship in there," defensive tackle Greg Gaines told the Seattle Times. "It’s definitely the coolest locker room I’ve ever been in." Washington's Husky Stadium debuted a massive $280M renovation in 2013 featuring new locker rooms, weight rooms and a training center and thus far, those enhancements have stood the rest of (relatively short) time.

LSU is not going anywhere.
Dude you’re replacing a big percentage of your skilled players on offense plus both your OC and DC. No way you continue to dominate like you did last year. You won’t be horrible but you’ll drop some games.

Bowden retired at the end of 2009 season. FSU won a title in 2013 season. So unless FSU had a ton of 5th year seniors play, Jimbo did not win a MNC with Bowden’s players.
You do know he had a lot of the 2010 class committed under his watch along with some of the 2011 class as well. Jimbo benefited since he had been a coach in waiting for like what? 3 seasons or so. From there, Jimbo got highly rated classes that didn't translate to the field at all. Which position did it fall flat from the Bowden era to his? That's right the OL.
Jimbo already has had a mass exodus of players at aggy hitting the portal. He had a solid class last season..but which had many out of state signees (notably the best ones coming from the NorthEast). Think those kids stay for 3/4 years if they don't get the PT they want or happy?

The best scenic football stadium. Before I die I need to catch a football game there.
That's from several thousand feet up in the air. When you're actually at ground level it's a gross and disgusting place.

How is this list approached? As a new coach coming into the job? Or the overall appeal and what the job has to offer?

because if it's a new coach looking for a job, I wouldn't want to go to Alabama following Saba's foot steps, in fact Alabama and Clemson would be much lower if that were the case.

You’re joking right? Bowden may have had SOME clout with the 2010 class. Bowden was gone in 2011. But Jimbo was part, and a BIG part of ALL OF THAT. He didn’t just come in the year before they won a championship. He was there several years before that. It was more than unfair to say he won with Bowdens players especially when a lot of those players he won with were freshman and sophomores.

I don’t give a shit how he is doing it at aggy. My main comment was he won with his players and not Bowdens.

I expect that response from an adolescent. Thank you for confirming that.
We are two peas in a pod sir. Definitely need to make the trip to Morgantown in the 21 season.. I'll help burn some couches when Texas wins there, again.

I don’t wish to go to jail for endangering a minor. Thanks though.

I would love to see Austin and another mountaineer win there.

LOL I'm no minor.. I'm actually old with two daughters ages 9 and soon to be 12. I'm from Austin, and plan on moving back but most likely outside Houston (the woodlands) since Austin is really expensive. Hopefully I can watch a game down there with ya in 22
