yo lets get on that exchange shiiiiiiiit, Bro Biden

I had my 2014 Bourbon County Coffee Stout last night. It was good. Realized I needed to get some chalice glasses for my fancy beers, so I ordered a couple.

Does anyone here use Untappd?
Welcome to like 2010.

And if you think I'm sending out my last Epitome to anyone, you're going to be disappointed, Bro Vaughn.

stopped at a local brewery (Scorpion Brewing) on Sunday to see what they had to offer and was pretty impressed. Ended up filling my growler with their IPA, which didn't taste dry or hoppy at all. Also got a Wee Heavy Scottish Ale of theirs that is a little sweet, but good.

The girlfriend likes sours and they had 2 on tap so we got a small growler of one. I might have a glass of that tonight after my volleyball match.

Agreed. NJ is pretty blah too. Prairie Ales is available in NY, but you can't get it in NJ. Their Funky Gold sours are awesome, and Bomb! is one of the best stouts out there.
ny and nj both lag behind......trying to find good west coast fare is near impossible
I've heard a lot of good things about Magnify Brewing (Fairfield, right off Route 46/Bloomfield Ave) as well. Hoping to check that out soon. There's a distillery next to the brewery.
went to one distillery in fairfield......they made rum and whiskey and some hard ice but were expanding to make a vodka
Maybe if you grow up there and you know all the restrictions, you know the workarounds, but we had a hard time getting enough sauce for a family get together.
left my hotel to try to buy some adult beverages in PA once......ill never get that 2 hours back. first store only sold kegs and cases so i could see why a college student would have no problem getting drink on.

I thought it was really good. Can't get it fresh around here though.

Victory Prima Pils is a really good American pilsner.

First time having a watermelon beer... quite tasty. Also my first experience with Anderson Valley. Can't wait to try their other gose.

I tried a watermelon gose last week, but it wasn't Anderson Valley. It tasted like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. Meh.

Anderson Valley Summer Solstice is very good.

Just an incredible beer.

In other news, I just accepted a position as a craft beer distribution rep in the Seattle area. Really excited to dive even further into the world. Actually @RegentDenali , I'll be the rep for a lot of places in and around Bothell.

Probably my favorite beer from vacation was Deep River's Mango Tango Foxtrot. Have a few left from vacation to drink. Also found a bottle of Cascade's Figaro. Will be getting together with a couple other beer geek friends to break that one open.
