I think I might be the opposite. I never liked it but have been drinking it more lately.

I also got 2 24 packs as a housewarming gift, so I am working my way through that

Maybe a little bit of both...I'll still drink it, but I don't go out of my way to buy it anymore. I really liked the Snake Dog a few years back, and Raging Bitch was also pretty good. My favorite was the Gonzo (i'm partial to porters)

I generally don't buy it myself. There are too many better options out there.

Right now I'm drinking a Nestle Pure Life bottled water, but last night I tried for the first time Angel's Envy Finished Rye Whiskey.

Le Ho Fuck.

That stuff, even at 100 proof, tastes like dessert in a whiskey glass. It's aged in Caribbean rum barrels, so it's got the spiced sweetness of a nice rum, coupled with a sublime rye flavor. It's pretty spendy, but if you get a chance to, drink some of this.

Yes. You can find most of their year round beers and some seasonals in NJ, but you rarely ever see their more limited releases (Anniversary blends, Parabola, etc). Sadly, I never tried the Anniversary blends (and haven't seen them in several years). I tried Parabola like three years ago. Still consider it to be the best beer I've had.

The NY market absolutely BLOWS. You'd think we could get everything here, but nooooo...I've seen better variety in places like New Hampshire.

I honestly think the beer distributors push shit based on what they think the hippies will buy

Agreed. NJ is pretty blah too. Prairie Ales is available in NY, but you can't get it in NJ. Their Funky Gold sours are awesome, and Bomb! is one of the best stouts out there.

Carton's good. I really need to go to their brewery. Highly recommend Kane Brewing as well. It's in Ocean Twp near Asbury Park.

I've heard a lot of good things about Magnify Brewing (Fairfield, right off Route 46/Bloomfield Ave) as well. Hoping to check that out soon. There's a distillery next to the brewery.

Cricket Hill Brewery and Jersey Artisan Distilling are both in Fairfield, as well.

Don't know why Fairfield has two breweries and two distilleries.
