It's only fitting Kane Brewing would release Morning Bell the week after I visit. Hoping one of the nearby bars was able to get some.

I got a case of Devil's Backbone at Costco for $26. A pretty good Texas attempt at a Belgian ale.

These are the old labels actually but you get the point:

It is an attempt by Anheuser Busch to make a beer to compete against Shiner Bock, which is very popular in Texas.

I have never had it, and the basic premise that it is from Anheuser Busch pretty much turns me off from ever trying it.

Caffeine Free Diet Coke.

Haven't had anything stronger since December 31, 1969.

Got tired of waking up with someone standing on my tongue.

Well I love shiner bock and I see no reason to give my money to AB either if that's the case.

Gonna have to check out Hop Concept soon. Didn't realize it's a Port Brewing/Lost Abbey brand. Also, hopefully we'll see some Hop-15 make itby us. Haven't tried that yet.

Well I used to love Goose Island until AB bought them and fucked them up.

By "fucked them up" do you mean paid them to produce way more of their best beer and distribute it en mass across the country?

I could have bought cases of Bourbon County Stout. This wasn't possible from 2010 - 2014. I also bought Rare, Coffee, Barleywine, and Regal Rye (Italicized were infected*) in Washington state.

*AB/Inbev allowed GI to provide a refund for customers nation wide to get a quick and easy refund for the infected Coffee and BW bottles they bought.

How anyone can complain that the Inbev buyout of Goose Island was anything but beneficial for them, I don't understand.

Prairie Funky Gold Simcoe. Another easy drinking, delicious sour from them. I prefer the Mosaic, but this is still pretty great.
