The last defensive series is exactly why our offense should get their asses chewed for this game. I've never seen our defense dominate a game so badly yet the other team still has a reasonable shot at winning

After barely being 6-6 last year, I will not complain about these ugly wins. Did not expect to be 6-1 right now. Great job Hokies!

Wow. Great opening drive for the Hokies. I am actually really interested to know when the last time we scored a touchdown on our opening possession was.

Actually not too far, we scored on the first drive against Georgia Tech.

Got the win and we're bowl eligible so we don't have to stress out like last year. But ckhokie summed this game up perfectly. The defense absolutely dominated this game but had to put in extra work because the offense bungled up so much. The game should have been in hand in the 3rd quarter. We did an ok job moving the ball between the 30s throughout the game and controlling the clock, but we came away with 3 or nothing far too many times. We should have had 35 to 40 pts this game. The offense needs their asses chewed out in the bye week. It's frustrating because you can see what the offense could be. The play designs look good and make sense, but there's no consistency with the players making plays. Gotta clean that up. And we HAVE to get at least an average running game. Mark it down. We will lose a game if we keep having poor efforts on the ground like that.
