Week 6: Virginia Tech @ North Carolina (Oct. 6, 2012)

I'll be there with the fam....wearing our brightest ORANGE and MAROON! The season is already down the drain for me as I don't expect us to compete with Clemson or FSU, so I am just hoping to see improvement this week and a good football game.

I totally agree with HoHum. I'm just looking for the team to progress over the previous week now. I do NOT want to see the boys give up and mail it in for the rest of the season. I don't know what to think about this game, my gut feeling is that we'll win a close, low scoring game (something like GT). I hope like hell that Bud lights up the defense's collective ass and they are ready to stuff Bernard (even though they couldn't last year on Thursday).

Looks like there is some rumor going around that we may say #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING this weekend at UNC .. would love that .. Matter in fact, was thinking that we should get back to blue-collar attitude and wears uniforms that fit that ... ala old school Penn State

plain solid maroon jersey (with white numbers) -- no name
plain maroon helmets with either a single white stripe or 1 white in middle and 2 orange on ends

No maroon everything this season. The team doesn't even have maroon pants. Think GT last year for our uniform combos this weekend.

Where are you even hearing this? We haven't had maroon pants for a couple years and I don't believe have them this year either.

Maroon is also an FSU color (well, similar anyway). I think we try to avoid having a maroon/orange effect game against an opponent who has that in their colors.
