I'm hoping our guys injured today will be healthy for Army or we rest some players in preparation for Hoosiers.

Weather looks like shit this weekend, also think Barkley is going to rest his ankle, I'll come back down to 31-6 and be happy I'm watching from couch and going the following week instead.

The Black Knights? All I can think of is this:

All kidding aside, I see PSU winning at home 24-20.

I hate to agree with this post. 10pts only by halftime against Army :L and even worse we had good field position after all those fumble recoveries our defense got us.

They clearly miss Barlkey and Lynch. The line is still not very good and finding an open WR seems difficult. I don't know whether to say Hack is not playing well or he just doesn't have time or can't find an open receiver. I think Donovan's offense leaves a lot to be desired. I am amazed that they have only run one jet sweep so far today.

Things are not looking good. I'm downright scared for the rest of the season.

Rest of the season we will be covering our eyes and peaking threw our fingers. We did miss our 2 star RB's, some defensive players were out and what scares me is another loss on our o-line. Drawing a blank on who got hurt but he was our most experienced lineman. Hack just doesn't look sharp. The play calling is horrible. We failed to throw the ball down field against ARMY. For God sake throw the ball deep once in awhile. We did throw it once and we got a TD out of it then what we do... we went back to running the ball then throwing screen passes. Donovan needs to go.

Looks like some players were ready to go, decided to rest them and players took it as a cake walk message. Looked like going through motions most of game, lined up in about 3 formations and just ran it non stop. Only time they opened up at all was 3 play, 91 yard drive. Missing key players on both sides led to an even more conservative plan. We need Saquon, Bell, Allen back NOW. With Saquon, teams have to respect the run and can't just blindly pin ears back to go after QB, enabling us to open up some.

To me they didnt take enough shots downfield and when they did.....2 big completions with the second being a TD to the TE Gesicki.

LBU kind of hinted at it but I really think the staff wasn't trying to show their hand for B1G play. Fact that when we needed to score we did so on 3 plays is a good sign. Was it the best call. No figuring it almost cost ua. That said 4-1 with loads of potential and I think we win this week. We of course shall see but I remain optimistic. Nonetheless was nice to see Franklin a little heated during the post game presser.

It also didn't help playing a bunch of freshman with little experience at safety and linebacker against a triple option offense they never see

I suppose the coaching staff took this "opportunity" to play freshman and get them experience as well as rest a banged-up couple of guys because you don't get game experience unless you play in a game for the freshman. I am sure the reasoning was that the opponent was not as good as the competition in weeks ahead and thus they went with many freshman and watered down amount of formations so the kids could process their play on a slower basis. It is still a win, albeit a scary one, and they accomplished the other agendas of building the reserves experience for the future and resting the injured and weary.
