The rest of the division lost earlier today. A win in GB and they're back in the race.

Quick strikes!! Get the ball out of Dalton's hands. These bums never change. Same old shit.

BTW, the young kicker they cut hit a 62 yarder to win a game. But yeah, let's keep Bullock..

Now that's a Bengals game.

Need one or two winning plays from any group (offense, defense or st) and you can't get it. Classic Marvin Lewis - Can't close for shit.

Outside of those couple of years with Hue at the controls of the offense, Dalton can't function late in games.

BTW -- I'll keep saying it. There is some real talent on this team. Lawson was an absolute steal, Smith is a beast..... The linebackers are decent at times even without their leader. And the line is probably not as horrible as feared. An average coach would get 9 or 10 wins out of these guys, easy.

Good on Romo for calling out Dalton's glaring weaknesses and poor play.

I've actually really liked Romo in the booth so far.

Yeah.... He says some stupid shit every now and then - Almost nervously. But when he focuses in, he really nails it. Calling out Dalton on missing LaFell on that 3rd down play was great. Most announcers wouldn't do it or they would miss it and he was absolutely right - If the Bengals convert any of those third downs in the second half, it makes it tough for the Packers to win.

The 3rd down missed throws and taking a 10 or 12 yard sack on 3rd down to push us back to a 48 yard fg (that was missed) seemed to cost us the game.

Romo is awesome in the booth. Totally refreshing. He was brutally honest on both Dalton (the missed LaFell play, and the sacks), and the play calling a few times during the game. My favorite bit went something along the lines of, "let's be honest, the offensive line isn't the strength of this team. They need to stop running the ball on 1st down and setting up obvious long passing downs on 2nd and 3rd. Plays into the defensive coordinator's hands. Too predictable."

I LOL'd at that. The Bengals have been doing that shit for as long as I can remember.

The rest of it is same shit different week. Andy Dalton just isn't that good a QB. This has been proven time and time again. He's regressed mentally the last two years and yesterday looked scared shittless late in the game. A 7 year vet should eat up those key moments. Dalton misses open receivers and starts scrambling when there isn't any pressure. Marvin Lewis will never change. He is who he is. A mediocre coach who doesn't make adjustments, goes conservative rather than going for the kill, and holds back promising young players.

The roster is among the most talented in the league. This defense could be downright nasty once Burfict gets back. The young pass rushers are making an impact. Carl Lawson looks like a young Terrell Suggs. The offense still has a ton of good players. AJ Green is AJ Green. Mixon looked the part when they set him up for success. We've still yet to see what Ross could become, and obviously Glass Man Eifert is a game changer when he's actually on the field.
