Because it's not fake and isn't even a hard thing to do.
It's a 30 yard throw, not a 50 yard throw.
40 yard dash in say 4.5? Even less than that, so he only needs to get the ball with about 4 seconds hang time max.
Not hard to do really.
#1 It's not a deep ball. He runs for a little more than 4 seconds, so it's 30 yards or so. We all know it's possible to throw a football and catch it ourselves, just toss it high. The question becomes "What is the furthest a football can be thrown and be caught by the thrower?"
It's probably doable, but this is clearly fake. There are two different shadows from a football. He threw it really high and out of the view of the camera and then had a buddy behind the camera throw him a deep pass.
It doesn't matter that it can be done. It's fake.
No answers to my question. I am not surprised.
OK, I tried it myself. Went out in a field and tried it 4 times. Dropped it once when I actually had a chance to catch it. Completely fucked it up two times and 1 time I threw it and caught it. I was gassed and quit. I measured my pass/catch and it was 61 feet. Pitiful but pretty damn good for a guy my age trying it cold. I can see a kid in great shape doubling what I did. My wife was watching and damn near fainted from laughing so hard. I'm gonna pay for this tomorrow.
