Whoever edited it did one hell of a job though. That's why I wasn't 100%, but you can tell something is off.

I think it's real. He threw the ball really high in the air and it's only about 30 yards to catch it.

Not impressed, LOTS of air under the ball, plenty of time to run underneath.

Looks like when he releases the ball, it goes almost straight up in the air.
Bet somebody threw another ball out there, and the one he threw fell to the ground where he threw it, off camera.

Looks believable to me.

It says in the story that he only threw it 25 to 30 yards. Really not that impressive.

Yup. The arch when he released it wasn't right. He threw it up and just enough to the right for it to land off camera.

Someone behind him (also off camera) threw him the ball.

If it's fake then this kid is the biggest idiot on earth. What happens when a college recruiter asks him to do it again? He'd better damn well be able to do it or he'll be laughed out of town. Someone with 4.4 speed and a good arm could do it. There are probably plenty of guys in the pro game who could do it if they practiced a bit. He's launching the ball like a mortar so he can run underneath it.

The ball's going straight up in the air and too the right.

He sold it good. It was well filmed, but if you focus on how he's releasing the ball. you can see it.

There's no audio, so you can't hear the ball hit the ground, or the guy next to the cameraman heaving it. Anybody could pull this off.

He sells it in the first frame.

His arm in the second frame is for throwing straight up in the air.

The ball goes relatively straight up in the air.

You don't see him follow through for a long ball.
