Despite the first handful of minutes of the game, I actually thought we looked the best we have in a long ass time...but that's not saying much. We've gone from fucking terrible to passably average (PROGRESS!). Still in the game right now so hopefully we can pull it out.

My only really angry moments were the 4th down calls. The punt in Duke territory was fucking stupid. And later on in the game, I liked the idea of going for it but the play call was just terrible. You run our smallest RB behind the weakest part of our OL to the short side of the field. So fucking dumb. Put Motley or Hodges in at QB (not Wildcat, but under center) and put in a bigger back. Now the defense doesn't know if its the QB running or to the power back. And then run behind your best linemen. Or hell, if Motley is in, run the same play they did except its a QB keeper and he bootlegs out to the opposite of the field where he can make a guy miss. So many options but we do the same stupid thing every time.

MW has been stuffed on 4th and 1 just as many times.

Our OL sucks and we refuse to call anything but I-formation runs up the middle on 4th and short. If you have no one blocking, and the other team knows what's coming, it doesn't matter who is running the ball
