VT has won the last 13 and 17 of the last 18.
UVA has greatly improved and is bowl eligible for the first time since 2011, while VT has the second longest active bowl streak (24 years including this year), behind FSU (currently 35 but this year is pending).
VT is limping into this game after having consecutive losses to Miami and GT, then barely pulling off a goal line stand as time expired last week against Pitt to avoid 3 straight losses.
While the game is at UVA, there is typically always a large VT contingent in the stands.
This could be the year UVA snaps the streak, but:
VT - 24
UVA - 20
