Flipped over to ESPN during the break. Greenberg had to talk about the Virginia Tech vs Iowa game. It was awkward. Jay Williams called him out for saying "we" when referring to VT, saying it shows he is still passionate about VT.

Get use to it. I mentioned the bad defensive tendencies in all the games I've watched this year. Still plenty of time for improvement but its starting to look more like something we're going to have to deal with all year. The other tendency I noticed still rings true as well. We're going to struggle to score against decent to good defensive teams and/or if we can't shoot jumpers. Offense is a faster pace, but its largely quick jumpers off simple screens or iso moves from Green, Brown, or Eddie.

Basically, the key to all games this season is going to come down to pace. We have to keep it fast. Otherwise, things are going to look bleak. Right now we've pushed it back up after Iowa's run and we've still got a lead. Let's see if we can hang on

Marble is heating up, but at least we've started to find the basket again. Also, we've been rebounding a lot better than I expected tonight. Defense is still biggest concern.
