Very Early 2024 Patriots Draft Talk

So many problems to address.

QB: I still like Maye. Williams is a close second for his Mahommes style throws while scrambling. JJ out of Michigan is my #3
WR: Harrison Jr, then everybody else.
TE: Brock Bowers. If not, Colston Loveland next year. Or both.
OL: Latham 6'6" @ 360 (Plays with a mean streak) or Alt 6'8" @ 320 (lighter/quicker)

Trade back and pick up a couple O lines prospects and build from there?

If we are at #4 I am looking to sign Ridley and or Higgins in FA. Taking Alt OT Notre Dame and seeing what I can get at QB round 2. I don't see QB as the priority b/c I am not sure Mac is the problem or a large part of the problem. He will be in year 4 next year and we have a 5 year option on him, so the need to take a QB that early isn't there for me.

You're probably correct. I was hoping/praying the Vikings might make a desperate move in the hopes of salvaging their season. Also, Cousins' massive contract is up at the end of this season. Perhaps they want to take a look at a younger and cheaper QB with potential.

• Olumyiwa Fashanu: Penn State
• Joe Alt: Notre Dame
• Taliese Fuaga: Oregon State
• JC Latham: Alabama
• Amarius Mims: Georgia
• Graham Barton: Duke

I'd take Fashanu or Alt with that pick. Bot are perfect for the BOB offense.

WEEI says that they have already called the Patriots. Don't know if they want Zappe, Grier or Mac.

My guess would be a fourth or fifth for Grier, a third or fourth for Zappe but the Patriots won't take less than a first for Mac.

My brain says Alt because Harrison is almost useless if the QB cannot get him the ball.

But...can Harrison be had 1st and "Good Enough" O Linemen be had in the 2nd and 3rd?
