Looks like someone's a little salty that Minnesota was compared to Washington State.

While quite small by college stadiums standards, Martin Stadium is still nearly twice the size of the largest high school stadiums.

It's unlikely enough money will be poured into the stadium to make Martin Stadium much more than it is now.

Looks like someone's a little salty that Minnesota was compared to Washington State.

My best friend while stationed in Germany was from Eastern Washington and was a big Wash St fan. So I've been well aware of how pathetic WSU has been, now is, and always will be in comparison to UMn.

I have no illusions about WSU. Takes a special team to lead 14-0 at home and lose 14-45. Still, more 10 win seasons than UMn over the last 100 years. Hell, WSU even has more Rose Bowl appearances than UMn. Must really suck that your team's just as mediocre as Podunk.

Even at 32,900 that's still 10,500 more than the largest high school stadium. Granted, I was going off 35,117 - which appears to not be the correct seating after replacing seats for luxury boxes in 2014. While it may be the smallest P5 stadium by a few hundred seats, it's not the smallest FBS by a long shot. Still, I stand by the idea that WSU will never put in enough money to build a stadium to rival any of the big spending schools throughout the power 5. They just aren't successful enough - consistently enough - to justify 100s of millions.
