Maybe he needs to be in more of a CDM position instead of CAM

this is something I thought makes sense for him... I don't like his role being offensive minded... his offensive "game" would be an added bonus/dimension as a defending midfielder....

Jozy being injured (and to an extent, not having Donovan) is what's screwing up our midfield right now. The lack of quality strikers is forcing Bradley to play CAM. I think he functions better as a CDM or deep-lying playmaker.

But wasn't Bradley playing CAM even with Jozy healthy in Juri's system?

Disagree. First off he isn't slow. Secondly, I don't think he should be playing 90 minutes, but a late 2nd half sub if we need to make something happen when losing would be a great role for him IMO.

He's definitely lost a step, which was always his strength. JK left him out for a reason and Yedlin has done a great job making things happen off the bench. I'll defer to Jurgen's judgement. This team is hurting a lot more due to Jozy's absence than Donovan's.

The only other guy who could do it is Dempsey, but without Jozy that is not an option.

Ya know, one thing that might work if Bradley can't take control of the game from an offensive perspective is to allow him to drop a little deeper and give Diskerud a shot at the attacking mid position. He has the creativity and wouldn't have many defensive responsibilities.

Center Mid and finishing, playmaking strikers have always been a weak point of the USMNT

I am surprised we haven't seen Mix this WC. The way the games have gone so far haven't been conducive to bring him on though.
