UCF had not lost to a regular season opponent going back to 2016. In an inspired performance, Pitt eked out a 1-point victory to end UCF's impressive streak. The blurbs that I heard were of UCF players congratulating Pitt on a hard-fought victory.

As for @UCFhonors, if he truly grinds your gizzard, there's the ignore option.

One bad game doesn’t change things, and the rise of the program has got to result in an invite to a P5 conference. Until that happens the narrative won’t change. I think one crucial point the G5’s miss when going toe to toe with the likes of historically great program’s fans like ohio, Oky and Alabama, etc is that they have been doing it for decades, not years. As a Ducks fan I ran into that full force. Also going against program’s fans whose time has gone, but laid the foundation for what the game is today is often an uphill battle for upstarts as well, fair or not.
