Agree.

But, that's the problem with Jordan.

He's great at getting his and can coexist with others as long as he is the focal point.

You take the ball out of his hands, or if he is relegated to 3 rd option, he hurts your team because his only focus is scoring.

Let's be real.

You aren't going very far if he is your #1 or 2 option.

He's Jamal Crawford, Lou Williams...not Lillard, Curry.

So, no way is he untradeable.

Yeah, I think Clarkson has found his role. He's a really good 6th man/instant offense off the bench kind of player. Nothing wrong with that either. Players like that have real value.

For a team like the Lakers, who are looking to create cap space, he could bring a decent draft pick (maybe mid to late 1st round from a playoff team) and maybe a solid vet on an expiring deal.

^ This 100% ^

Had to look back and see how my first statement could be interpreted as negative.

* not by you *

It kinda is.

He's not a dime a dozen and has real value.

But, you use that value in a heartbeat to get a true foundational piece like George, Boogie.

Yet, you don't just throw him away like you can find his replacement on every G League Team in the Country.

Looks like George Hill is on his way out. I have heard Shump and Frye are among the assets the Kings will receive

That is just step one. We needed a reliable backup PG. Now they need to get a reliable big man at least

Need a PG that can defend, also a spot-up perimeter shooter. Rose is pretty useless at this point.

Which is why Sacto is pushing for draft compensation to get something out of the deal (other than dumping Hill and advancing the tank effort).

yeah, there's no way imo that Cleveland's gonna make any trades without giving up that Brooklyn pick...
