Hey you ol fuddy duddy, it's the offseason. Get with it and make a list! On field .... off field .... doesn't matter .... give us something to chew on!

Fine, you whiny cuss.

1) Low APR and GSR.
2) The various arrests that have happened over the years. Lumping them all because I don't care to individually rank each one.
3) Boosters and donors talking out of their asses.
4) How country club the lockerroom had apparently gotten during Mack's tenure.
5) (On field) Rout losses.

Is there a team outside of the Ivy league that this doesn't apply too? That's a great list for everyone. Especially #3.

That game put BSU on the map. And you wonders with the prestige and momentum it gave your program. You guys did a heck of a job building a program from almost nothing into one that had an argument that you should be included in the NC picture.

It was a big win and began a really nice run. I doubt they'll ever get back to that 2006-2011 type level so as a fan you just tell yourself to enjoy it while it lasts.

5. Being owned by our rival 2-12.

Good bump. I'd add how ND kept 5 players out of football related activities while they investigated whether they cheated. Normal, but the kicker is they kept them going to class for months not knowing whether or not they were going to be kicked out of school. Completely unacceptable. The whole thing dragged on way too long.

Being shutout for the first time in series history by ND in the last game we're going to play for along time? 37-0 :noidea:

Notre Dame's biggest embarrassment was hiring George O'Leary without checking his transcripts to make sure he wasn't lying about his academic record - then having to fire him a week later when they found out.

But then again, there are still the inexcusable tragedies of Declan Sullivan's completely prevetable death and the travesty of the Lizzy Seeberg incident. Sometimes, the bastages make it hard to be supportive.

lol, nothing about ND vs. Michigan is embarrassing. We own ND. They just got the last jab in.

Those aren't embarrassing. Those kinds of things are just common occurrences for every other major program. The only reason we're slightly bashful about them is because of how great we are and how average all of those events make us look.

Look at Arizona, they think RR is the best thing since sliced bread. That's only because of how terrible Arizona has been prior.

We cut ties, your fans, coach, and AD cried, we beat your ass in our last meeting...not so sure it's Michigan that owns ND.

Yeah, it's Michigan that owns ND. One game doesn't erase the history of the rivalry, especially the last decade.

But, being honest, it was one of the most even rivalries we had.

What about being caught cheating and still only being 3-9 on the season?

Again, that's just a normal occurrence at other schools. That was our first major football NCAA violation and it involved not counting 15 minutes of stretching during practice. If anything, it was embarrassing how much attention the national media gave a very minor issue.
