The problem for Garrett is that while he was making rookie mistakes, his 11-5 team was going 8-8. Now that he has had time to figure things out, he needs to find a way for his 6-10 team to go 10-6

no they weren't and should have been better than 8-8. But this team this year, with an unbelievably bad defense, won't be sniffing .500. That's the shit I was referring to. No offense can compensate for a defense that bad.

I totally agree. Now, the last two years, the D has been decimated by injuries, so a lot of the blame goes to the GM for having a salary cap mess and continually taking players who were always hurt in college and expecting them to stay on the field as pro's. Switching scheme from 3-4 to 4-3 after spending a bundle on Carr and trading a 1st and 2nd to move up and get Claiborne didn't make a Hell of a lot of sense either

I think he would have been fine if we had kept him in a scheme where he could just man up. Not trying to pile on the kid, but he made a 4 on his Wonderlic. They give you a 4 if you spell your name right. I mean, seriously, this guy went to LSU and he made a 4. I guarantee you my 5 year old could make a 4.
