Well, I saw improvements in some areas that were in serious need of improving. I also saw some of the same old shit. The substitution penalties were a joke. I thought tackling was improved, over all, but still has room for improvement. Pressure was real good at times.I could almost see when they were in the 2-gap calls. D-linemen were statues after the first couple of steps.

I really liked how well TA played. His fake pitch on the option about brought me out of my recliner. Ameer. Nothing needed here. Imani needs to put a little fat on them muscles so he can snuggle that ball.
Play calling on the series ending in the safety was atrocious.
Extra points.... well, I'll give them the "It was crazy windy" benefit of the doubt there.
Over all, I think the team looked better than they have all season. I know, the bar wasn't set real high for that.

I agree, this is the best the team has looked this year. It looked like a few guys on Defense actually took a step forward for a change.

Like RA said though, we probably should go on a streak of wins here and then flop big time somewhere down the road.....it only makes sense

But I will say this everyone we play will have one major weakness that we need to take advantage of

Michigan isn't as scary as we all thought beginning of the year

Pretty much agree with your sentiments.

However, Smith has missed at least one other PAT this season. It could be a long term problem and it would suck to lose a game down the road because of it. Not like you go out and get a FG kicker mid season though.
