Daniel Carson just committed to Texas

He’ll need at least a red shirt year. I would think he’ll develop into a solid contributer. Not a game breaker but they’re not all going to be. Should be some solid rotational depth once he develops.

Ideally I'd like to redshirt every kid we sign on the OL/DL this year outside of the JUCOs

Carson should be a solid contributor, an anchor on the line. He has some technique issues that need to be coached as well as adding some weight. But DAMN we needed him.

Now all we need to do is close on Coburn, Ossai and Ojomo.......it's looking good for all three currently

I think whoever commits first, gets the spot. Thompson, would be a HUGE get and Ojomo, will grow into a great DT,NG.

Right now I think all of the coaches energy are on Ojo, Thompson, ONeal, Tank and Solo.

Right now I think OU is leading on Ojomo. Things have taken a strange turn against UT, he setup a last visit with Oregon and now looks to take a mid week trip to either UT or the Aggys.

This one really hurt them. Harbaugh was on this kid very early in the process and Meyer jumped in on Friday not that far away. I think the Cox leaving is when Meyer went full court press on Friday.

I don't think that kid knows where he's going yet......but IF he leaves the state I'm pretty sure it would be to OU. I haven't seen much other than his visit to OU to think he's leaving the state tho.

We'll all know in a few weeks. The only thing I DO know is aggy fans are going to be pissed either way, so there's THAT!!!

LOL. And that's completely wrong for one reason......A&M only got CBs for Ojomo because he lives in Katy......so aggy fans just ASSUMED he wanted to be an aggy. He's never even visited their campus, and they aren't getting an official.

Those picks will all flip in the next week. So yeah, they're a little behind here. NOBODY thinks this isn't a Texas-OU battle.
