SEC placed 10 teams into regionals last season with 2 teams advancing to the CWS

Big 12 placed 5 teams into regionals last season with 3 teams advancing to the CWS

Like I said, when the SEC hits Regionals, Super Regionals, and the CWS they thin out fast.

That is one year, and the debate was over the PAC 12 and SEC not the Big 12. The numbers if anything would be tilted more towards the SEC when comparing teams in the CWS to the Big 12.

The Big 12 has placed 7 teams in the CWS in that time and only 1 team in the title, 0 Champions.

Actually my original point included the Big 12.

The only real SEC standout is LSU.

Nebraska's 2001, 2002 and 2005 runs to the CWS belong to the Big 12.

I included A&M in the Big 12 during my research. RPI up to this point will be skewed regardless. Have to wait longer than the second week of SEC play to properly evaluate the teams in the conference. I will say this is a down year for the SEC. Seems like it isn't just football.

Huskers beat Texas 1-0 after 15 scoreless innings.

They beat them 3-1 yesterday and lead the series 2-0

Huskers swept Texas with a 6-2 win today. Held them scoreless until the top of the 9th, and out hit them 16-5 on the day.

Prior to their 2 runs in the 9th today, Texas had scored just 1 run in 32 innings against the Huskers in the 3 game series.

A&M lost game 2 yesterday 3-2 First home lost of the year

Right now A&M is winning 14-5 in game 3 at Blue Bell Park at Olsen Field over Missouri. Attendence this weekend for all 3 games is 18,776 which is the largest crowd for a 3 game series since the renovation and 5th largest in
Olsen history.
