Yep.......the offers from UCLA and Stanford put Bo and Company over the edge.

We lost our leverage and had to make the offer. He will be N guaranteed.

obviously very good classes... Michigan is most likely going to land Parrker Westphal who is one of the best CB prospects in the nation and one I wanted to come to Nebraska. I thought Michigan's class was a bit overrated last year, Shane Morris has real trouble with accuracy sometimes and there were a few others I thought were overrated. However, this year they have the best class in the B1G IMO, though OSU is not far behind.

Not so sure about Parrker Westphal being headed to AA. Michigan just offered a kid from Maryland and rumors I'm hearing is Westphal is looking elsewhere.

As for Morris, he is a big unknown. Big arm and his accuracy is underrated but he has very little experience. Sat out much of his senior year and really didn't have a much talent around him.

Overall, Michigan's class will be judged on how the OL develops over the next few years.

Good Luck

By the way... this will get some people going, and i'm also excited about. Claudeson Pelon (4-Star JUCO DT) just got offered by Nebraska. He's been on record saying that Nebraska was the big offer he wanted, now he has it. He's the #1 rated Strong-side DE in the country (JUCO) according to 247Sports, but I'm pretty sure he's being recruited as a DT.

Good to hear. He reminds me of Sapp

I should be clear... it's going to be a heck of a battle, not sure we have much of a chance but we do have a chance. Need to lock up an official visit (or unofficial) ASAP. I think we'd need to get him on campus twice to get into his top 3. South Carolina and Florida are the major players here IMO

One of the top JUCO DTs in the nation in Abu Lamin is deciding between Auburn and Nebraska on an official visit this coming weekend. Auburn just got a commit from a different JUCO DT today so I think that puts things in our favor. If he visits we are squarely in the conversation with a few other SEC teams (namely South Carolina, Arkansas and Tennessee).

His top 6 are: Nebraska, South Carolina, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Auburn (he will not be taking an OV to Georgia and will only be taking one between Auburn and us). He's visited Florida (not in his top 6), South Carolina and Arkansas already.

on 247 it says he's "cool" on Nebraska and Warm on USC and Miami. Washington's his leader.

I think we need to change the way we are going about recruiting. We need to get more hardcore about it.......

For instance, I think the next time Bo goes to waste his time on a 5-star recruit, he should just walk in and without shaking anyone's hand or anything, just take a shit right there on their coffee table.

Then look at the kid and say, "clean that up."

Based on the kid's reaction he should know immediately if this kid is worth wasting anymore time on. If he refuses to clean it up, walk out the door. If he cleans it up, then he has the guts to come play for Nebraska and turn down all those pretty boy schools.

Coaches are turning it up a notch in recruiting, I love it, whether or not we can land Lamin either way
