The more I watch the two "forward progress" calls, the more the NFL sucks a veiny dick. Just awful, game-changing calls.

Tough to beat a team 3Xs in one year. Buffalo riding a huge high
true but I think with a bit of extra help at LB position, they just might pull it off.....it's Tom Brady...Bill Bel

True.....but then again, the Pats are a team that could pull it off:whoo:

The reality check here is that the Chiefs have been seriously beating up the AFC West for the past 2 years and kinda outright bad outside of the AFC West.

The roster needs to improve. I think it can but I don't think its realistic to expect Alex Smith to play at this level. He had a career year and the Chiefs still couldn't do much with it.

I do think maybe the Chiefs had the talent to beat the Titans the majority of the time but I feel like I've been saying that all year.

I'm kinda used to it by now.

NFL might actually be the worst ref'd sport just due to the nature of single elimination and small-season size.

Whats really bad about all of this is that the Titans are going to get blown out by 20+ points in the next round. I'm not sure you can come out of that game thinking they are super bowl bound.

Although with the inconsistency the Chiefs played this year, it might have been the same with them, as well.

That's coming back. Should have held on

My question: Why didn't the Rams do this all night?

Yep. The Patriots get to face another powder puff in the divisional round.

I was thinking the same thing. At least we know that the Lions just aren't good enough. I think it might be worse to root for a team that has the talent but shits the bed when it counts so often.[/QUOTe

KC has lost 6 straight HOME playoff games. Home field for KC is an absolute curse. That is unbelievable stat. Makes me wonder if home field is all that important especially to the Lions.

LOL. This Titans team had no business winning a playoff game. Thanks Andy Reid! You keep on not giving the ball to Kareem Hunt!

Same ole Andy Reid. 1-4 in KC in the playoffs; 1-6 in his last 7 playoff games overall including epic loss vs Colts, today's game and last year when KC couldn't score on the Steelers despite multiple tries (hell, you might even look at clock management vs the Pats 2 years ago).

Same losses the same ways for 20 years: poor clock management, not running the ball, and/or failure to adjust to the game. When Andy's teams games don't have everything go exactly right, Andy just watches the trainwreck while more successful coaches make changes and can still win. (And he keeps building teams where everything has to go just right in order to win)

But Philly ran him out of town for no reason.

AFC outside of NE and Pitt just doesn't have it this year. Thought maybe KC could make a run but they fell apart after Kelce went down and let a team that really has no business being in the playoffs advance. It's really too bad we got the Titans and Bills instead of the Chargers and Ravens.

Luckily the 6 best teams all got in in the NFC.
