I would too. Starting at that gives Nebraska a lot of respect imo, being in Camp Randall. They're looking at Wisky having two losses and us none.
I really believe if we can play ball in the second quarter we can win. If we do like we have been and go in to the Bad Tommy minutes even for a single drive, we lose.

One thing is for sure. If we win this game, people are going to shut the hell up about Nebraska not belonging.

Either we're confirmed as a top 10 team, or the media gets their big laugh they've been waiting for.

Guise. Is this game for the Orange Bowl?
Nah the rose bowl. If we beat them and then lose in the big city we go to the rose bowl. the orange bowl is old news, the Rose bowl is the bowl of all bowls. Better than a natty.

This is Tommy's game to win or lose. Good Tommy = W, Bad Tommy = L

i disagree with this game being solely on TAs shoulders. It comes down to the NU O-line play imo. if they can make some holes to open up a running game and give TA some time, i think we can win.

however, at the moment I don't have high hopes because of how beat up we are and the way Purdue killed us at the LOS.

Agreed that we need all other parts of team to be clicking. I feel that Tommy can be the difference and it's his time to step up and lead them to a W. He has to be the most talented kid on the field (overall) and I hope he can deliver a good game. Guess that what I meant to say in first place.

yea, i agree with that. TA can make or break the game but I'd prefer he be given the chance by decent o-line play.

Captain Obvious here, but if our O-Line doesn't get healthy and improve their play by Saturday then I don't like our chances. Wiscy's D is too good and we need to establish a run game and not have Tommy running for his life all game and chucking up YOLO's.

I have faith that our D can hold it's own and give Wiscy's offense some fits.

Danny Langsdorf is going to have to earn his paycheck this week if we are going to win. With our banged up O-line and how good Wiscy's D is, he's going to HAVE to come up with one hell of a game play and play calling.

I hate the "no respect" clause as motivation, but this is getting pretty blatant...

How Week 8 changed the Playoff picture

No 8. Nebraska 27, Purdue 14

No one cares. The Huskers are unbeaten, though.

Sounds like Wisco's injury report doesn't look good for them either. Their best LB and NT are out and their top CB is questionable.

LB is Cichy, Biegel is still playing. Wisconsin has depth at linebacker.

Iowa was 2 for 13 on 3rd down.

Wisconsin held Iowa under 100 yards rushing.

Sagapolu is hurt?

I figured the line would move up a point or so in favor of them, that's a lot of jack getting laid out for Wisconsin to cover moving 2 points in the first day. If I've learned anything, when there's a certain sure thing, bet the other way

Forgot about Biegel. Yeah, he's probably better. Cichy is leading the team in tackles though.

I noticed Cethans injury is listed as shoulder, I was under the impression it was a dislocated elbow, he may be back sooner than I was thinking

We better be able to run the ball at a good clip and keep them honest up front or TA will be running for his life.
I was told I am going to a social event Saturday so I have to cut my Quail hunt short and will have to catch the score on the down low.

See and that is why I think the game comes down to whether or not we can make plays on Defense to match the plays their Defense is going to undoubtedly make, as well as Tommy making a few huge plays down field with his arm.

This banged up OLine is not going to go into this environment against that front 7 and open up holes unless they smoke some crack before the game and get wired.
