The weird fumble in the Bama/Florida game

For those that watched the game, what is your opinion on that play? Was it a fumble and recovered by Bama or Florida? I don't really care as far as the outcome of the game goes, but it did have a huge impact on Florida's season. From what I saw it was recovered by Bama and should have been called better. The very next play Brantley gets hurt. If the call was handled better beforehand Florida still has their QB. That is my point.

Bama came up with it, Brabtley didn't even know where the ball was.

The bad part about it was the refs didn't blow it dead, didn't call it a fumble, didn't call him down so nobody really knew what to do.

brantley fumbled but he also was back on top of the ball when the florida players believed the play to be dead. And then the call on the play was florida timeout. The refs blew the call of the play regardless. No one seemed to know what was going on.
