Brady: 20 of 39, 277 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 72.3 QB rating.

@Rock Strongo Man. What happened tonight? Lots of passes in the dirt. He was clearly frustrated all night long. Are Edelman and Lewis missed that sorely that Brady can't get it going? So we come to the poll question.

Has Tom Brady benefited from great WR and TE play throughout his career?

Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch. All-Time receptions leader for the Patriots Troy Brown. Hall of Famer Randy Moss. Wes Welker, Julian Edelman. Etc. Always had great play out of TEs.

Tom * looked like a real asshole. He struggled and got hit a lot and it looked like he was taking it out on his team mates. Reminds me of the prick QB in the movie The Replacements.

Lots of passes in the dirt because incomplete is better than sacked.

That was a good effort with very limited weapons to start the game, fewer to finish.

The secret to greatness is winning even when you don't have your best stuff.

And the officials were horrible. But great teams overcome bad officiating. 10-0. Next!

(and all the haters can suck it)

I agree. He was blowing up on the sidelines it seemed like every time they put the camera over there.

The officials were horrible on both sides. That was an overall horribly officiated game. The refs really need to improve. But yeah, I saw 3 or 4 great balls by Brady, but other than that, it was his typical dink and dunk. It just confused me a bit when I saw him frustrated and throwing the balls into the dirt when it seemed like he still had a bit more time. I understand the Bills have the best pass rush in the game, but you can't let them rattle you like that.

And once again, help from the refs at the end.

The refs fault. Of course could never be Tom Brady. "Everyone is doing it" "free Hernadez" right Pats fans?

Yes, the officials were bad for both teams. I didn't mean to imply the Pats got the better or the worse of the officiating.

But great teams overcome bad calls.

Brady acts like a bipolar female on the sidelines.

This. Tom threw a lot of passes to the ground to avoid possibly bigger mistakes. He made the right decisions in those passes, better incomplete than risk sack, strip, etc. Smart play IMHO.

Wrong, that's not what he said.

I agree with that. I'm just pointing out a few plays where he seem frustrated and threw it into the dirt when he had a bit more time it seemed.

We all know this is just bait for Rock.

Kickers need to do their job too. Pats have been smart to secure solid players in that position, which has been like two in the Belichick / Brady era. How many teams have lost close games because of a mediocre kicker?

Ha! truth is that what Brady has always been about. In his early years he would go up and down the sideline slapping helmets and getting players pumped up, especially the D. Good to see that again, he didn't do it for a few years.

Can't disagree with that, and a lot of big games have been lost because of a kicker. One in particular I remember too well...
