I don't think you pass up some of the rumored trades that teams were offering them unless you plan on Jimmy G. being the long-term solution at the position. So I'll agree with you that this is Brady's last season as they can't afford both QB's on huge salaries.

i had a feeling the moment they drafted jimmy, that brady had a 3-4 year window at the most.

when they turned down a kings ransom of picks, i knew it.

im gonna say it until people are on board. the writing is on the wall this year IMO...

teams loaded up on both sides like never before in the brady era
brady is cashing in on endorsements now (japan, madden, etc)


i can envision him going to SF to help bring them back to some kind of prominence, even for 2 years or so. all he needs is a stable pass blocking line and a slot receiver.

It could be Jimmy Garoppolo, but what makes you think he is ready or for that matter good enough, to be a starting QB in the NFL?

I think he gets greedy....

This has more to do with Garappolo than Brady. If Garappolo is a starting level QB than Brady is gone but if he isnt then Brady will be back again and again.

Brady has three years left on his contract. Brady and JG have the same agent. Brady wins #6 and steps back. JG takes the reins and Brady takes the clipboard. Brady will redo his contract in a very team friendly way and gets to decide whether or not he wants to coach. He'll get a 10 year guaranteed contract and will get $10M a year. If JG implodes than Brady can work with Brissett and not have to put his ass on the line.
