It's cute that you keep trying to distance yourself from your heritage by trying to put it on others, but it hasn't worked, and won't work. There is a reason why that term has stuck with your school for the better part of a millennium. How about that last bowl game your team played in? Lost what was it, 15 point lead with a couple of minutes to go?

No other team in any other sport can EVER be said to 'coug' it. It's not a one game thing. It's a life-long achievement to have such a thing. Every sports team can lose a game, but there can only be one 'coug it'. And thank god the Portland State kind of games are never that far away to give everyone a reminder of where that all came from.

Never in my lifetime that I can recall we have blown a lead as big as you guys did vs ASU or us in the AC in Leach's first year.

Biggest game in more than a decade with a HUGE, pretty much impossible lead to lose... and they lost. THAT's coug'en it.

But you just keep trying to distance yourself from who you are. It really does add to the comedy factor by at least 100.

Shall we start a list of games that have cemented that term on your school? I really don't think you'll like the outcome.

Amazing that Utah is out of the PAC south title. That's just wow after looking like they were in the drivers seat for that for weeks. PAC was a competitive hot mess this year. Everyone beat the crap out of each other.

Yeah. And factor in this was supposed to be a year the south took over. I heard USC, UCLA, and ASU all get playoff hype at one point or another. They all shit the bed, Utah convincingly took over, now they shit the bed, and a mediocre USC or UCLA will represent the south in the title game. Crazy year...
