THE PAC 12 THREAD v.3

Think of it as a for fun pick then. It doesn't have to be an official bowl pick for points. It is a regular season game, but it's 'murica man! Have some pride.

Wasn't planning on doing points with it. Hell, never figured out what Mamba wanted done with the CCG picks he had (that's why I didn't put a pick in) as we already crowned the regular season pick'em champ and it too wasn't a bowl game. Those picks are out there in limbo somewhere.

I just never knew what that was for. The CCG isn't a regular season game so it doesn't go to the regular season champion and it isn't a bowl game. What the hell are we supposed to do with it?

I wanted us to do a full bowl season pick'em and crown both an overall bowl champion, and take just the Pac ones and add them to the regular season stats and crown a pac pick'em grand champion. That was my vision anyway. Not sure what will happen really. I leave the picks up to Mamba. Hoping we have some props here and there on it as well just to add a little spice to the holiday season. We will see.

I've been there several times it's a beautiful area. I live about 3 hours south in dutchess county. Not too far from West Point. Not a fan of army or navy but they are amazing games to see live. Still not the same as SC. I get out to the west coast once a year for a game. Was at the USC/Syracuse game in giants stadium that was delayed because of a nasty storm. I was surprised how many SC fans made the trek to NY

Last year we used the CCG to break the tie we had for the season. That made sense. Rivalry week is the last week of the season and should be for all the marbles.

We did a bowl pick'em last year too, but I don't remember if we added them to the regular season stats or if they stood on their own. I will do both this year if we can.

• Use the PAC12 CCG as a tiebreaker for the Regular Season.
• And ... Add All of the Championship Games ATS, to the 'Bowl Pick'ems.

Only issue I see..

It's a very quick turn from the Reg Season to the Bowl Season when adding all the Championsip games to the Bowl Pick'ems.

If there were quite a few prop bet's I've have no problem with it. The issue is diversity. You need enough options on any week to keep from having a bunching on the winner board. That's why Mamba puts in some prop bets on regular weeks when we have less than 5 games for the week.

Probably don't need them for bowl season since there are a so damned many of them, but it's still fun to add some in. We will also have to add the NCG once the teams and lines are known. I won't release the totals until after that game.

I can still pick a team as far as who I think will win the game or whether or not the Army will beat the spread. But as for who I'm pulling for? That's a game time decision. Always has been.

So this wheel invention, as you call it, changes now matter WHAT we do.

Why can't we do both? If he puts up every game I can use the Pac ones with this years regular season stats and we can still have an overall bowl champ as well. If you don't want to put anything in but the Pac games then by all means do so.

I just haven't seen anyone else doing a full bowl slate ATS. I've seen straight up and confidence picks, but not spread. Maybe I missed it if there is one.

If we do an all bowl pickem why not just creat a group on ESPN or something let them worry about the points.
