NFL - Baylor's Art Briles, Seattle's Darrell Bevell among top candidates for Washington job - ESPN

The only college coach I would want on this list would be Shaw. Briles, Sumlin, Kelly...no thanks.

Some of these other guys I like .... for various reasons. It will be interesting.

With all the Snyder has met with Cowher twice already rumors flying, coupled with the fact that Haslett is still here makes me wonder. Haslett was Cowher's Defensive Coordinator for 3 years in Pittsburgh. Should we read into this. If so did Haslett run a 34 or a 43 when he was there from 97 to 99?

Greg Roman = HC
Jim Schwartz = DC

After that, we would be just fine.

Could it be Whisenhunt as OC and Haslett as DC with Cowher as HC? Pure speculation on my part.

Let's see we tried a coaches who had won SBs...........so nix to Cowher.


Jay Gruden while a good coach is more the Norv Turner type OC is his calling.


Danny Smith knows all of the players and that will help him, the problem is he knows all of the players objectivity might suffer.


Shaw is def. not coming here...........unless.....$$$$$$$$$$$$$


I would love to see a coach come here who knows that there is great value in having PLAYERS who are slobber-knockers, can handle the knuckle-head because every team needs a couple on their sideline. Is hungry for the opportunity to win it all and don't mind getting in a players grill when they F/U no matter who they are. That said there are two who meet my criteria.
